Gurugram Police Arrests 2 Rohit Godara Gang Members in Major Operation
In a major breakthrough, Gurugram Police arrested two alleged members of the notorious Rohit Godara gang, known for extortion, contract killings, and interstate crime. The arrests are part of a heightened crackdown on organized crime syndicates in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Arrest Details & Police Operation
The suspects, identified as Vikram “Vicky” Singh (28) and Rakesh Kumar (30), were caught in a late-night raid in Sector 56. Acting on a tip-off, the Crime Branch conducted surveillance before apprehending them.
DCP (Crime) Priyanka Sharma stated:
“The accused were hiding in a rented apartment planning another extortion attempt. We recovered illegal pistols, ammunition, and multiple SIM cards used for threats.”

Investigations confirm their ties to Rohit Godara, a wanted gangster operating from abroad. Godara, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate, was involved in high-profile cases, including Sidhu Moosewala’s murder (2022).
An officer revealed:
“Vicky and Rakesh handled extortion in Haryana and Rajasthan for Godara, using encrypted apps and frequent hideout changes.”
Modus Operandi & Past Crimes
The duo allegedly:
– Made threatening calls to local businessmen
– Demanded money as “protection”
– Suspected in 5+ extortion cases in Gurugram & Faridabad
