Pan-India SIR Phase 2: Overview
The Survey of India’s Resources (SIR), a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Science and Technology, has entered Phase 2 after a successful pilot in 8 states. This nationwide geospatial and socio-economic survey aims to map India’s land, water, industrial, and agricultural resources to streamline policy-making and infrastructure development.
